Note that Nightingale X will run natively in OS X (and only in OS X) and Nightingale v.4.5 is a classic application which will run in OS 7 and above. Note that there is no shipping charge if you wish to use the downloaded files only and do not require a CD.

You do not need to pay us if you are just trying out a download. The purpose of your payment is, in effect, to acquire an unlocking code for the software, which will otherwise only run for 20 to 30 days after first launch. Once a CD is shipped, accepted returns will incur a charge of (usually) $13 in the U.S. After an unlocking code is provided, however, your purchase is non-refundable. The $13 cost of a trial CD, though non-refundable, is applicable towards your future purchase, and contains all the necessary software at the time of shipment. Maintenance upgrades and updated documentation may be downloaded from the website.

Upgrade pricing is determined by your last version purchased. All upgrade pricing for versions earlier than v.3.5 requires proof of a prior purchase, such as a copy of the original bill of sale or a screen shot of the 'About Nightingale' window which shows your name.
Student pricing requires proof of enrollment.
Academic Faculty pricing requires proof of employment.
